Mental health talks your people will actually sit through.

I am a licensed therapist and the founder of Hello Calm. I speak at schools, workplaces, conferences, and community events, in person and online, anywhere in the country.

Ryan Greenwood, founder of Hello Calm

What I speak on

Hello Calm provides live and online educational presentations, seminars, classes, and workshops concerning therapy, psychology, mental health, and relationship counseling for organizations, professionals, schools, and community groups.

I build every session around the room it is going into. A high school assembly and a hospital staff training are not the same talk with different slides. I ask what your people are actually dealing with, then build to that.

Available nationwide, in person and online.

Where I have spoken

FAPA Annual Pilot Retirement Event

MAY 9, 2025 · FEATURED PRESENTATION

How to Have a Positive Relationship After a Career of Traveling and Then Suddenly Being Together

A session for retiring airline pilots and their partners on the shift from being away most of the time to being home full time. Routines colliding, expectations about togetherness, the loss of a professional identity, and how to repair well.

Nevada State High School

JANUARY 2024 · TRANSITIONS CONFERENCE

Understanding Mental Health and Mental Illness

A session for students and staff on what mental health and mental illness actually are. Hello Calm clinicians covered several topics across the day.

CSN Mental Health 360 Conference

APRIL 2023 · BREAKOUT SESSION

Practical Ways to Cope with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Stress

A general mental health session covering what each of these is, what causes it, what treatment looks like, and an exercise for each.

Topics

These are the sessions I am asked for most. Each one adapts to your audience, and I will build something new if what you need is not here.

Adult ADHD at Work

What ADHD actually looks like in adults, why the productivity advice keeps failing, and what managers and colleagues can do that helps. Not a diagnosis session. A practical one.

Anxiety in Teenagers, and What Adults Miss

The difference between a teenager who is stressed and a teenager who is struggling, how avoidance builds quietly, and what to say when a kid finally tells you something hard.

Trauma Without the Jargon

How difficult experiences keep showing up years later in ways people do not connect to the original event, and why telling someone to move on has never worked for anyone.

Burnout Is Not a Time Management Problem

Why the usual fixes do not touch it, what actually depletes people at work, and the organizational conditions that make burnout predictable.

When the Work Ends

Identity, retirement, and major transitions. What happens to a person when the role that defined them goes away, and how to navigate the stretch before the next thing arrives.

How to Talk to Someone Who Is Struggling

For people who are not therapists but keep ending up in the conversation: teachers, managers, coaches, clergy, front desk staff. What to say, what to skip, and when to hand it off.

Do not see it here? Tell me what your people are dealing with. A custom session is usually the better session.

WHO YOU WOULD BE BOOKING

Ryan Greenwood, CPC

Founder of Hello Calm

I founded Hello Calm, an award-winning therapy practice in Henderson, Nevada, and I still see clients every week. Most of my clinical work is with adults carrying trauma and adult ADHD, and I am trained in EMDR. I also built and run the practice itself, which means I have spent as much time thinking about how organizations treat people as I have sitting across from them one at a time.

I speak the way I do therapy: plainly, without jargon, and without pretending the hard parts are simpler than they are. People remember specifics. They do not remember slides about self care.

Questions organizers ask

Do you travel?

Yes. I am based in Henderson, Nevada, and I present nationwide. Travel is quoted along with the engagement.

Can you do this online?

Yes. Every session is available live by video, and the virtual version is a real version of the talk, not a compromised one.

What does it cost?

It depends on the format, the length, and the travel involved. Tell me what you are planning and I will give you a number.

How far ahead should we book?

The more notice the better, but ask regardless of your timeline. Sometimes a close date works.

Can you build a session we do not see listed?

Yes, and it is usually the better session. Tell me what your people are dealing with and I will build to it.

Check availability

Tell me about your event: who is in the room, what they are dealing with, and when. I reply to every inquiry, and I will say so directly if I am not the right fit.
